9 June welcome to Denmark
Up nice and early got off to a flyer through town and across the border on a side road for cyclists so no sign saying welcome to Denmark. Started off a bit drizzly but came glorious. The roads are brilliant for cycling on as they either have a wide shoulder or a separate path but unlike Germany these are really smooth. There seems to be less crossroads and intersections so can really munch the kilometres. Make it to just outside kolding when the sky just opens up and starts dumping rain. Floods appear in town with people’s cars getting stuck in them and I’m drenched from head to foot. So I decide it is probably best to find a hostel tonight to try and get things dry. Especially since the last hostel I stayed in the dryer didn’t work and its been raining the last 3 nighys, so hopefully have some clean dry clothes for tomorrow.
